By using MathBench, you agree to these terms. They set out what a free calculator site can and cannot promise.

Estimates, not professional advice

Every calculator on this site produces an estimate for planning and educational purposes. Results are not engineering, construction, financial, tax, legal, or medical advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your specific situation. Building codes, material specifications, tax law, and lender practices vary by location and change over time.

No warranty

The site and its calculators are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work hard to keep the math right and the reference figures current, but we cannot guarantee that every value is error-free or up to date.

Intellectual property

The site's content (text, design, and code) belongs to MathBench. Underlying mathematical formulas are, of course, free for anyone to use. The pages explaining them are what's protected.
